The System · Updated July 2026
One person. Full marketing function. This is the machine.
This site claims that one person with AI systems can do the work of an entire marketing team. This page is the standing proof: the actual stack, what each layer owns, what it costs, and — starting August 2026 — monthly reports with the real numbers.
For the full playbook on building your own, read The One-Person Marketing Team.

The stack, by layer
01
Strategy & judgment
Owner: Me
Positioning, what to say, what to never say, which numbers to publish, what ships and what dies in review. The layer that took ten years of manual reps to build — and the reason the rest of the system works.
02
Content production
Owner: Claude Code + custom skills
Essays, case studies, newsletter drafts, and social posts produced inside an agentic coding environment loaded with my brand voice, positioning docs, and content strategy as custom skills. The storytelling layer is open source — see Brand Story at /skills. Every piece passes through my review before shipping.
03
SEO, AEO & site operations
Owner: Claude Code + custom skills
Meta structure, schema markup, internal linking, image optimization, audits, builds, and deploys. The site you're reading — 40+ pages, structured data throughout — is built and maintained this way.
04
Campaign execution
Owner: Grovio Labs (private beta)
The autonomous layer: multi-agent campaign orchestration with brand memory and recursive learning. My own marketing is Grovio's first proving ground. This is the layer that becomes the product.
05
Distribution & plumbing
Owner: Systems
Astro static site on Vercel with git-based deploys, Substack for The Autonomous Marketer, analytics for the feedback loop. Boring on purpose — the plumbing should never be the interesting part.
"The systems own execution. I own judgment. Every piece ships through my review — the day that stops being true, this page will say so."
Monthly System Reports
The receipts, on a schedule.
Starting August 2026, I'll publish a report every month: traffic, subscribers, output volume, costs, and hours. Flat months included — receipts that only appear in good months aren't receipts, they're marketing.
Report #001
August 2026 — coming soon
The first full month of the repositioned system. Delivered to The Autonomous Marketer subscribers first, then published here.
Newsletter
The Autonomous Marketer
The decade of marketing I wish someone had written down. Sent when I have something real to say — not on a schedule.
